Split Pay: makes sharing expenses simple and stress-free. Designed with user feedback in mind, Split Pay allows you to divide costs with friends, family, or colleagues directly within the app. Whether you’re splitting a meal, a group gift, or a monthly bill, this feature makes it easy to allocate expenses and ensure everyone pays their part without awkward reminders. Integrated seamlessly into Venmo's familiar interface, Split Pay provides a smooth experience that feels natural and intuitive for all users, helping to make group expenses a breeze.

Bill Pay: users can handle recurring payments like utilities, subscriptions, or rent, all in one place. Bill Pay accommodates various payment cycles and methods, helping users stay organized and on track with due dates. Aimed at simplifying bill management, this feature supports clear communication and tracking, so users can confirm when a payment is made and avoid the hassle of missed deadlines. By offering a straightforward and reliable bill-paying solution, Venmo helps users stay on top of their finances with ease and convenience.

This analysis identifies improvement areas, current successes, and new growth opportunities. I examined competitors—Venmo, Apple Pay, Chime, and Splitwise—to understand their unique brand messages and visualize tailored features for target users. To enhance this understanding, I created user personas from research insights and user interviews. Wesley, a tech-savvy entrepreneur with an unpredictable income, seeks streamlined bill tracking, cryptocurrency usage, and secure payments. Maria, an organized businesswoman, values simplicity and relies on trusted platforms for efficient finances. These personas help envision ideal features and experiences for our target audience.

After researching Venmo users' needs and designing personas and journeys for the platform, I followed design guidelines. Testing the work to improve efficiency and dependability for Split Pay and Bill Pay features. Venmo's app caters to a diverse user base, including friends, families, small business owners, gig workers, and young adults.
